Judiciary Launches Launches Narok Employment and Labour Relations Court Sub-Registry

Justice Monica Mbaru on June 23, 2026 launched the Employment and Labour Relations Court Sub-Registry in Narok under the Employment and Labour Relations Court, aimed at expanding access to justice for residents of Narok County and surrounding regions. The facility enables filing and processing of employment and labour disputes locally, reducing the need for litigants to travel to Nakuru, Kericho, or Kisii.
A circuit arrangement has been introduced where an ELRC judge will periodically hear cases at the Narok Law Courts to improve service delivery and case handling efficiency.

The launch was attended by Justice Anna Mwaure, Justice Charles Kariuki, and Acting Registrar Fredrick Nyamora, with the Narok Sub-Registry placed under administrative supervision of the ELRC Nakuru station.
