I&M Bank on June 16, 2026 announced a KES 10 million investment in Nairobi City Thunder, becoming the basketball club’s official banking partner for the 2026 Kenya National Basketball League season.
The sponsorship is focused on promoting talent development, ambition, discipline and the growth of Kenyan basketball, while helping Nairobi City Thunder strengthen its presence from local competitions to continental tournaments. The initiative also seeks to support the next generation of basketball players in Kenya.
