Machakos County on June 17th 2026 entered a partnership with KCB Bank Kenya to improve access to reliable energy through renewable energy deployment across public infrastructure.
The initiative targets solarisation of health facilities, schools, and public spaces across the Machakos county to enhance energy reliability and support improved delivery of essential services.
