Taita Taveta County Government under Andrew Mwadime installed solar-powered Mulika Mwizi high mast security light in Mwatate CBD to enhance public safety, extend business hours, and support trade, commerce, and sustainable urban development in partnership with the State Department for Housing and Urban Development.
Additional solar-powered high mast lights are planned for Bura, Kamtonga, Ushindi Village, Ikanga Village, Bondeni Village, and Kajire Village, each providing 360-degree illumination over a 300-metre diameter to improve security and stimulate socio-economic activities.
