Kenya formally presented its accession documents to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development at its London headquarters, with Ambassador Rose Makena Muchiri handing over the documents to EBRD Secretary General Milica Delević.
The membership opens new opportunities for private-sector development, investment mobilisation, infrastructure financing and climate-resilient growth, while the EBRD confirmed that its first African headquarters and sub-Saharan regional hub will be based in Nairobi.
