Kenyan Universities in South Korea for 2026 Technology Transfer Training

Representatives from Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Mount Kenya University (MKU), Pioneer International University (PIU) and Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) participated in the 2026 Technology Transfer Training (TTT) Programme in South Korea from May 3 to May 30.

The programme, implemented by the Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology under the Maritime Education and Training Support for Kenya (METSK) initiative with support from the Korea Maritime and Ocean University, provided specialized training, knowledge exchange and exposure to South Korea’s advanced maritime sector supported by Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU).
