Beatrice Inyangala launches Kenya HEST Project Phase II at KALRO

Dr Beatrice Muganda Inyangala at KALRO Naivasha launched the Kenya Higher Education Science and Technology Project Phase II (HEST II), aimed at strengthening higher education, research, innovation, STEM infrastructure, industry linkages, and skills development in Kenya.

The program includes three Centres of Excellence in Engineering at Technical University of Mombasa, Meru University of Science and Technology, and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, revival of the Science and Technology Park at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, development of National Physical Science Research Laboratories at Konza Technopolis, and over 200 postgraduate STEM scholarships supported by the African Development Bank, National Treasury, and partner institutions.
