UHC Staff Statement On Demonstration In Nairobi

The Health Sector Caucus wishes to notify your office that they will be having peaceful procession by UHC staff across all cadres to the Ministry of Health offices on Tuesday 29th April, 2025 on the matters of discrimination of UHC staff participating in a lawful strike action, absorption into PnP terms, payment of gratuities and withheld salaries. An estimate of 500 UHC staff are expected to participate in this course.

The procession will start from Green Park Terminus where members will peacefully assemble and then match towards the aforementioned offices as will be agreed led by the leaders of the unions.

The reason for this notification is to request your office to facilitate us with security as we exercise our rights.
