AMSUN Statement On The Passing Of Ndini Dennis Kamunya, Medical Student

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Ndini Dennis Kamunya, 3rd year medical student, one of our own. He was a bright, dedicated, and deeply valued member of our medical community, and this loss leaves an immense void in our hearts.

During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Kamunya's family, friends, classmates, and all who knew and loved him. As a community that cares for others, we must also care for ourselves and one another. Grief, shock, and sorrow are natural responses to such a loss, and we encourage everyone to lean on each other for support.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please remember that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. We urge anyone in need to reach out to our counseling services. Let us come together to honor his memory by fostering a culture of compassion, openness, and support within our profession.

A memorial gathering or counseling session will be held for those who wish to pay their respects and find solace in community. Details will follow shortly.

In solidarity and sorrow.

Sincerely,

Owen Edwin,
AMSUN welfare.
