Ahmed Farah Statement On Resignation as CEO of KNCCI

I wish to officially announce my departure from the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) effective Friday 18 April 2025.

It has been an honour to serve in this role and to contribute to the advancement of the Chamber's strategic mandate. Over the course of my tenure, I have been privileged to work alongside a highly committed team, valued partners, and a broad network of stakeholders, all dedicated to enhancing Kenya's business landscape.

As with many leadership journeys, moments of divergence can shape the way forward. In this case, differing perspectives between myself and the Board of Directors have brought my tenure to a close.

I remain optimistic in the Chamber's potential in promoting a resilient, inclusive, and globally competitive economy. With capable leadership and sustained collaboration, I am certain the institution will build upon its solid foundation and continue to deliver meaningful impact for the business community in the country.

I extend my sincere appreciation and thanks to all who supported me during my time at the Chamber. Your confidence and partnership have been instrumental and deeply appreciated.

AHMED FARAH
