Immigration Services Says 1.9 Million Travelers Have Been Processed Through ETA
Immigration Services says 1.9 million Travellers have been processed through Electronic Travel Authorisatiaon (eTA) since January 4th, 2024.

The Directorate of Immigration Services wishes to reaffirm its commitment to enhancing service delivery to clients and stakeholders. In pursuit of this objective, the Directorate has embraced modern technology aimed at improving national security and enhancing facilitation of travelers.
The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a modern border management tool accessible through https://www.etakenya.go.ke. Deployment of the eTA system successfully addressed congestion that was previously experienced along the ports of entry. It significantly reduced the turnaround time for travelers at the borders.
Since its inception on 4th January 2024, 1,921,929 travelers have been processed through the eTA system. The eTA system is constantly being improved to offer a better user experience. All concerns raised by applicants and stakeholders are being addressed by a designated team.
