Ministry of Health Statement on Audit of UHC Staff In Counties

Reference is made to the approved Risk Based Internal Audit Work Plan for the Financial Year 2024/2025. The Audit Unit wishes to undertake an audit of UHC staff in the following sampled counties as listed below from 19th May 2025.

Team One: Taita Taveta, Kilifi, Mombasa, and Kwale. Team Two: Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Kericho, and Nakuru. Team Three: Kisumu, Homabay, Kisii, and Migori. Team Four: Tharaka Nithi, Meru, Nyeri, and Isiolo.

The objective of the audit is to confirm the existence of UHC staff and their roles in the various facilities. The purpose of this letter therefore is to inform you of the above exercise that will commence on 19th May, 2025, and request your officers at the County Government/Hospitals and KNBTS to cooperate with the team and provide all the relevant information and documents.
