National Assembly Notice On Approval Hearings Dates For IEBC Nominees. This follows their nomination by President William Ruto.
IT IS NOTIFIED to the general public that pursuant to Article 118(1)(b) of the Constitution and section 6(4) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act (Cap. 7F), the Departmental Committee on Justice and Constitutional Affairs shall conduct Approval Hearings (Vetting) of the nominees on Monday 26th May 2025 in the Mini Chamber, First Floor, County Hall, Parliament Buildings at 9:30am as per the schedule below:

The Clerk of the National Assembly hereby invites members of the public to submit any representations they may have, by way of written statements on oath (affidavits) with supporting evidence contesting the suitability of the candidates for appointment to the offices they have been nominated to.
The memoranda may be forwarded to the Clerk of the National Assembly, P.O. Box 41842-00100, Nairobi; hand-delivered to the Office of the Clerk, Main Parliament Buildings, Nairobi; or emailed to cna@parliament.go.ke to be received on or before Wednesday 21st May 2025 by 5.00 p.m.
